About
The Department of Finance was established to meet the need for manpower trained in financial matters, especially in the public sector, and to prepare students for the complex, competitive business environment. During the 4-year education period in the department, it is aimed to implement a balanced program to provide theoretical and applied economics, finance, public economics, accounting, financial law, tax and criminal law formation regarding financial issues for the public and private sectors. Within the scope of this purpose, it is aimed to develop the necessary knowledge for senior management in public and private organizations after graduation. Undergraduate graduates are given a "Bachelor's Degree Diploma" and the titles they receive vary depending on the institution they work for and their location. Having knowledge of finance is a reason for preference for students who want to work in positions such as tax inspector, district governor, administrative justice judge, Court of Accounts auditor, specialist, revenue specialist, banking and bank inspector. Graduates of the department can work in other ministries, especially the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, and in public and private banks.
